Why setting up pre hydrogenation for pretreatment of reformer

This is mainly due to the requirement of reforming the catalyst, because some impurities will accelerate the deactivation of the reforming catalyst. In order to protect the reforming catalyst, the Prehydrogenation unit is set up to remove the harmful substances to the reforming catalyst. The substances that have toxic effects on the reforming catalyst are sulfur, nitrogen, oxygen and other heavy metals, as well as heavy metals such as arsenic, lead, copper, mercury and iron. In order to remove these toxic substances, the DEARSENIZING part, hydrofining part, dehydrating part and deep desulphurization part have been set up in the Prehydrogenation unit.
