High wear resistance and low pressure drop PLS cyclone separator-industrial test and application plan design review meeting was successfully held

On July 25, 2020, relevant personnel of Sinopec Luoyang Engineering Co., Ltd., China University of Petroleum (Beijing), Sinopec Changling Branch, Luoyang Branch, Liaoning Jiabao Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd., etc. A special meeting was held for the industrialization test plan and industrial application of the new PLS cyclone separator.

The meeting was organized by the Science and Technology Department of Sinopec. Tang Hongnian, Director of the Science and Technology Department of Sinopec Luoyang Engineering Company, presided over the meeting. Well-known experts and professors were invited to the meeting. At the meeting:

1. China University of Petroleum (Beijing) gave a brief introduction on the development process of cyclone separators in my country, and then explained in detail the main characteristics, test conditions and data reports of the new type of PLS cyclone separators; through the China University of Petroleum (Beijing) CFD simulation and The test results of Liaoning Jiabao prove that the new type of PLS can achieve the characteristics of maintaining efficiency and reducing blood pressure.

2. Sinopec Luoyang Engineering Co., Ltd. introduced the industrial test plan of PLS spinning in the transformation of 1# catalytic regenerator of Sinopec Changling Branch, and the new structure, new technology and new materials used in construction drawings to achieve the goal of the subject.

3. The Luoyang branch of Sinopec introduced that after the catalytic device was transformed into a new type of PLS first-generation spinner, the device was put into operation and the use effect was good.

The meeting analyzed and compared the test data, and optimized the structure and manufacturing details of the cyclone separator from the design. The meeting was a complete success and achieved consistent and vigorously promoted and used opinions.
